Haha, yup sporadic entries at random times. That is what I have become this Ramadan, although I wasn’t very regular throughout the rest of the year either. I guess this is going to be my late New Years Resolution — Get regular with my writing!
Anyways. The last ten days of Ramadan are upon us, which is a really important time for all Muslims. It is said that during these ten nights, the Night of Power, a night which is said to be better than 1000 months during which angels descend upon the earth. It is also important because that is the night when the Quran was revealed to the Blessed Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him). During these ten nights, Muslims search for the Night of Power, in hopes of gaining bountiful rewards.
These ten days also mark the departure of the holy month of Ramadan. It always baffles me how time just flies. We always contemplate how on earth we’ll make it through, fasting all day from food and water. But it just flies by. All we can do is pray that we are alive when it comes around again so we can benefit from it.
Tis sad.
On a slightly sillier note, here’s a quick comic to sum up my Ramadan!
